Reclusive Urmila Matondkar Resurfaces

Two unlikely gal pals were keeping styrofoam cups of coffee, popcorn tubs and each other company at a multiplex screening of the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone romance flick Tamasha during the weekend.

'Unlikely' because, the rarely-sighted Urmila Matondkar and the hottie Sophie Choudry are as unalike as chalk and cheese. Urmila has gone into the reclusive mode while Sophie fetches up in an occasional item number.



Naturally, SpotboyE, which was on the spot, quizzed Urmila about her much-wondered-about voluntary retirement from the Bollywood scene, to which she laughed out loud, "Yeah, people are now comparing me with Greta Garbo."

No movies or what? Urmila evaded answering that, by rolling her eyes, "Don't you worry. I'm busy. I'm going to take off to America and Europe soon."

By that, we guess, the Rangeela siren will participate in overseas concerts and public events.Meanwhile, Sophie chose to remain silent as a tomb.

How come, Urmila is a regular at Manish Malhotra's fashion shows and was conspicuous by her presence at his recent birthday bash? To that, she grinned, "Why not? Manish is such a sweetheart."

After the show, we did ask Urmila about her response to Tamasha to which she said after a pause, "Nice, nice, it had so many fantastic moments. And I just lurvvvvvd Ranbir."

Saying that, she bolted from the auditorium, as the ushers and soda fountain attendants made a beeline to click her on cellphone cameras.

Sophie went by unnoticed since she is not easily identifiable without her make-up and glitzy dance costume
